What are some examples of dirty marketing tricks?

It may not be a dirty trick, but I found it clever.

I kept 195 Rs in my pocket to buy Dabur honey of the same worth.

(No extra money, as I read somewhere when you are hungry you may end up buying things you don't need, I wasn't hungry, but as it is the festive season, I could get lured by offers!!)

Way to shop with my friend….

finally reached there.

Venue:-Shop

Asked for honey there, Then I saw this, got panicked as I had no extra money.

It was 260 Rs (for two bottles), asked my friend for extra money, she didn't have.

What should I do now? How would I get that advantageous offer? Please, someone, help me!!

But wait…

(I am habitual of comparing two things for extras(it maybe 2 - 3 gms even,

did the same..

600/195=3.07692…..

800/260=3.07692…

What?? Exactly the same!!

(Actually, that bottle with the offer contained 400 gm of honey in one,)

So all that tension was just in vain.

That Buy one get one thing wanted me to spend 260 Rs over her, yet 195 Rs honey was

sufficient for my all purposes

yet I could end up spending 65 Rs extra over her.

She was not bad on her side, she didn't want to loot me, but even I didn't want to get looted when I was seeking for a benefit, not no loss.
